COMPASS FOUNDATION

Compass Church Foundation
What will your children and their children and future generations remember about you? The measure of a person’s character is not what we get from our ancestors but what we leave for our descendents. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds for capital improvements needed in all church buildings not included in the church’s operating budget. This may include special designated projects such as restoration and preservation of the stained glass windows, replacement of the heating system and other necessities to help carry on the Lord’s work.

There are many ways to invest in God’s work here on earth. For example, a life insurance policy could name the Compass Church Foundation as a beneficiary. Or, if you name the Foundation in your will or trust, you have a way to help carry on the Lord’s work after you pass on.

Creative ways you can give.
  • Final Will & Trust
  • Memorials
  • Honorarium
  • Gifts of Stocks, Bonds or Life Insurance
  • Gifts of Real Property
  • Cash Donation in Lieu of Gift The person/family would receive a note of your gift honoring their wedding, baptism, anniversary, graduation or memorial unless you request otherwise.
All members of our church, regardless of age, as well as individuals from the community, are invited to participate in the Foundation’s work. Our goal is to make giving to the Foundation a meaningful, fulfilling and positive experience for all. Gifts large and small are important. Special envelopes are available for your Foundation gift. Please make all checks payable to: Compass Foundation
All giving to the Foundation should be considered above and beyond your regular giving.

All ages can give to support the work of our church. All non-cash gifts are subject to pre-approval of the Foundation before acceptance. Your gifts may be tax deductible. Please check with your tax advisor.

“Giving to the Lord is the only investment that never fails.”

"Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.– 1 Timothy 6:18-19"
